hi i spent some time in alaska for about 23 years ago and i was cheweing this shit for abouth 10 months and i have to say this is the best you get in the states but i feel we have better snuff in sweden, but thats my feeling so when ewerything comes around ewerybody have there favorites.

very good dip has a nice taste to it. its very fine though so you put it in the front lip, i like mine to the side but its worth it. I give it a 9.75 out of 10.

Here in Northen Alberta us boys love the Cope!!! It does age a little quick, but oilfield hours give us nothing but sweet time to feast on the teast that keeps us all coming back...When I crack in to a new tin I just wanna cram the whole thing in, dubble dipping always!

I'm an American who has dipped Cope for a long time. Cope is not intended for beginners. Growing up it was the stuff for the older guys as it was much stronger and had a pure tobacco taste. Getting a good lip in with this cut is a little hard for some. If you don't have a well developed "pocket" you may get the tobacco all over your mouth.
I've ordered snus on a couple of occasions and am waiting on another shipment. I think snus is great because it is less dangerous but if I had my choice I would take this over all others every day. That's personal opinion and to the Europeans it may be a bit harsh or dry. I think the texture and flavor are unbeatable but only for those who have used American dip in the past and have something to reference it against. Cope...not for beginners but top of the line for experienced dippers.

This stuff is so good it doesn't last long enough around me to dry out! I can use a can of this up in about two days. Nothing is even close to the flavor of Copenhagen. It goes well with a beer or even whiskey. Long live original Copenhagen snuff.

Strangely, the copenhagen on sale in Europe for (US Military only), is packed in plastic cans with a very long shelf life. The cans in America, packed in wax-permeated cardboard lose there quality almost before they reach the market. I wish the makers of Copenhagen would wake up and use the plastic world-wide !

As a replanted Swede I must state my opinion. I use Ettan Snus, I've tried Copenhagen Fine cut however, it is cut much coarser than Ettan. I get longer use and use less with Ettan since I beieve it is a finer cut(more surface area). Try a can, just one. However, Opinions are like @#$ ^&*( everyone has one. Tack, Thure

Although Cope is cut very fine for an American snuff, it is much coarser than Snus and does not pack as solidly. It is tricky to use for beginners and requires more spitting than Swdish Snus. The flavor is unusual and fairly strong. It is not a plain tobacco taste, but has an distinctive aroma that is hard to describe. As the last reviewer noted, it dries out quickly and should be used within a week or so of the can date. Freezing it helps to preserve it, but it dries out quickly if opened or even left on the shelf. Actually, moving it to an old plastic snus can will help it to keep, as the wax paper and metal Cope can is very porous. It's worth tryng this once, but Ettan and swdish products are better, I think. It's the best American product made, though.

This is one of the best tasting moist snuff brands in the world. Copenhagen Snuff is to american smokeless tobacco what Ettan is to swedish moist snuff. i dont mean in terms of flavour but in the fact that both products have been around since the 1800's.
Rich flavour very strong and quite punch of nicotine. The only problem is that the flavour does not hold as long a long cut dip and is so tasty that you can get through a can of this very quickly.

This is the best you can get. There is nothing like a fresh can of cope. The only down side is it ages quickly. You have to watch the date on the can. Holds up well in the refridgerator.
