Launched in 2010 and manufactured by Gajane, Olde Viking Ginger Lime is another uniquely flavored snus in the Olde Viking brand name. Olde Viking Ginger Lime is classified as a regular type portion which means that each portion goes thru an additional process at the end of manufacturing, prior to being placed in the cans, that adds a small bit of water to each one. This additional bit of moisture allows the flavors within the snus to mix better and gives the portion material it’s brown coloring. The portion material is made from a teabag type material that’s actually quite soft to the touch and comfortable in the lip for over an hour. Gajane has also chosen a unique type of can for their Olde Viking brand of snus, it actually resembles a retro type, modernist shape and is also a bit larger than the standard cans used by other manufacturers. Disappointing for me. Can't taste ginger in these at all, just a mild citrus flavor after the salt taste. Just OK. smile:|

I couldn't get through the whole can, gave to a friend who is new to snus, and he enjoyed it. I could barely taste the ginger, and honestly the smell put me off. Something about it didn't sit right with me. But, again, my friend seemed to like it, so maybe it just wasn't for me.

The flavor is truly unique and very hard to describe. To me, I can taste ginger but it seems the lime cancels out the burn it usually has. Well worth a try.
