I'd like a little tobacco with my salt, please. Unremarkable, except for its desiccation power. Almost briny. Barely made it through one tin, have another to try. May stay in the freezer for some time.

I liked it. General is my go to brand but I found this to be very similar with a straight tobacco taste that lasted a good hour. Worth a try.

I am fairly new to Snus. Have only been using a couple months. I bought a mixed box set of Swedish Match products and Tre Ankare was one of the products in there. This was definitely my favorite I've tried so far. To me, it tastes like cigarette tobacco smells, which is appealing to me. I love the simple flavor. Very mild in taste and nicotine compared to the others I've tried. Smooth and Mellow. Not too salty either. After a while, you forget it's there. I am looking forward to other brands that I have read are similar in taste, but I think I'll always have this one around.

I shared a can of this with a friend of mine that often dips copenhagen. We both agreed that there was nothing remarkable about this snus but we kept coming back to it when choosing between the 3 or 4 different snuses I had open at the time. It's got a nice solid tobacco flavor with a hint of earth? smoke? something...It's also very moist for a white portion. Worth checking out at the least.

I bought a can of this not to long ago and really enjoyed it. The flavor was mild and rich with a hint of something peppery in the background. I let a couple of my non-snus using friends try it and even they said it wasn't bad. This is really a hard snus to critique because it isn't the most unique flavor but thats probably it's greatest strength. It hits the spot and gets the job done and does so without being offensive to ones palate, regardless of how discerning it may be. Try it, you may not love it, but you certainly won't hate it.

this is a very smooth tasting snus it has smokey hint to it with pure tobacco i recommend that every try this one

i love this snus - the smokey flavor is fantastic -- it reminds me of the probe whiskey, without the sweet factor, beautifully smokey and delicious

This is a mediocre snus. It has an herby, smokey tobacco flavor. Not as salty as general and also not as "full flavored". I found the taste dissipated fairly quickly. Good as an alternative to Grov or Ettan or any other "plain" snus.

Really good choice for everyday use. Flavor isn't overwheling. Recommended if you like Lucky Strike, Retro, and other "plain" snus.

Love the flavour of this Snus, im not great at decribing flavours but got this snus in a trial box of 10 different Snus, it was put in instead of Lucky Strike which i assume they must have been out of stock at the time of shipping.
As was said by a previous comment as much as i love the earthy herby flavour i find myself having to squeeze the portion more than others to keep the flavour coming, in a nutshell great flavour but i would love this even more if it was a regular portion not a white. It's definitely going to feature in more of my orders though!

Not bad, not great, just average. It's got a simple flavor and is a good anytime snus, which is its redeeming factor. Whether you're looking for something you can have a drink with or are just looking for a clean snus to pass the time it'll do the job. The can design has a classic, old school look which reflects the simple, old school taste of this snus.

It's just an average, forgettable snus. Not too bad, not to good, just acceptable. It's definitely not one that I look for when I buy snus, but I'll use it if it's the only thing I've got. Meh.

Tre Ankare is another snus I picked up in one of Swedish Match's sampler boxes.
It was the first portion that Swedish Match made, launched back in 1977, but the original portion has since been dropped in favour of white portion only (as well as mini white). The can seems to be going for a traditional nautical theme - to go with the name: "Three Anchors" - but the design, on a standard Swedish Match can, doesn't do much for me. And I'm sad to say that the flavour isn't one of my favorites either. Like G

Another unique flavor but not for me. It has a rich tobacco taste along with a berry/pine taste that I wasn't too keen on. Overall, very clean but I personally tend to favor a mint or citurs snus myself. This was not it.

Great snus! Nice smokey flavor, goes well with a dram of scotch. A similar taste to Grov, but more smokey.
