Go back Our Odens Kanel, Loose ReviewIntroduced in 2009 and manufactured by Gajane, Oden’s Kanel (cinnamon) loose snus is classified as a coarse ground snus which means that the tobacco pieces are a bit larger than the fine grind type. This leaves the surface area of each piece larger and easier to mold into a prilla. Also, coarse ground snus tends to hold a prilla’s shape longer no matter if you use a tool or hand shape it. The prilla we tested was made with a 3 ml tool and kept its shape for about 2 hours before it began to fall apart but the flavor lasted about 3 hours! Each can of Oden’s Kanel contains 45 grams of snus and a Nicotine content of 8 mg per gram. The can is made of black plastic, both bottom and top, and makes a great seal that doesn’t accidently pop open when in your pocket but you came here to read about the taste not read about the can so, let’s take a look! Oden’s Kanel loose’s flavor is pretty much the same as its portion sibling which is a cinnamon flavored snus but not like one would expect a cinnamon flavored snus to be. Some other snus manufacturers have attempted to make spice flavored snus and actually made cinnamon the predominant flavor. This is not true with Oden’s Kanel. What we taste is a smooth tobacco flavor, a bit of salt and hints of cinnamon in the background. While the cinnamon is in the background, it is noticeable but not overbearing. The tobacco flavor is a great combination of mild tobaccos and really matches well with the cinnamon to create a savory cinnamon flavor as opposed to an overly sweet taste. Tastes exactly like cinnamon red-hot candy. If you like that, than go for it, as it's well done. But I prefer my snus to taste like tobacco instead of like a jawbreaker.

I gave this 3 stars. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it either. The cinnamon was evident and tasty, but unfortunately wasn't enough to dress up the "Oden's" lacking flavor. It's still "Oden's". You can put lipstick on a pig, but...

The best tasting Kanel Snus. Smells great, like a user mentioned its tobacco and Kanel taste is blended perfectly. The only thing I would change is the grind. When I use my tool it usually stays together for about 45 min before falling apart. 5 stars

Great for those that find the ES version too strong, however still is a bit strong for a non stark. Smooth tobacco taste with just a hint of natural cinnamon. Great balance in terms of taste. Does not hand bake the best, suggest icetool or prismaster for those new to los.

It's good tasting tobacco plus it has just about the right amount of cinnamon taste/smell. It could have just a little more cinnamon for me but it's still very good. This Odens 8mg nic cinnamon has the same or more nic punch as skruf loose. If you like cinnamon candy give this a try.

Great Tasting Los with subtle tones of cinnamon and nice tobacco tones.
