Go back Our Northerner Boost Snus ReviewMade by Snus Bruket / TillCe AB for Northerner, Northerner Energy snus is classified as a Dry type, mini portion. “Dry Type Mini portion? What’s that mean?” We know it sounds confusing and, there are a few others out there with this classification so, let’s clarify it here. Dry type means that the snus inside the portions is, well, dry. It’s more like a powdered tobacco but, no need to fear, the snus is still made in the Swedish tradition just air dried and pulverized. Since there is no moisture, the material is dry as well. The mini part means that it’s about half the size of a traditional portion and has less snus, typically around .3 g of snus per portion. Ok, now that we clarified that a bit, back to the review! The material that’s used in Northerner Energy snus is a teabag type material that feels a bit stiff in the hands but, once it’s in your lip, the material gets soft and comfortable and stays that way for about an hour which is about as long as the flavor lasts. Each can of Northerner Energy Snus has 24 portions that have a little less than .3 grams of snus each. Each portion has 6 mg of purified Nicotine along with Taurine, Caffeine and Guarana for a bit of an energy boost! The can is made of white plastic with two chambers on the top, both with flip top lids. The smaller chamber at the top of the can is for used portions but, enough about the can, on to the taste! Northerner Energy Snus has the taste of honey and peppermint but the flavor is not as strong as a typical portion would be. Northerner Energy snus’ flavor is actually pretty subtle until the portion gets wet. Once it does, the flavor begins to come out and is really quite pleasant. There are other flavors in the background like a slight peppery note but, this is from the Nicotine. Another thing about Northerner Energy snus is the fact that it can actually help keep your teeth white and breath fresh. This is from the small bit of Baking Soda used in the portion. Overall, we think Northerner Energy snus is a refreshing twist on the traditional mini portion but, we want to know what you think. love this product but trying to cut down on caffeine. anyone recommend something similar without the boost?

I just finished off my can today and I must say this stuff tastes great. The flavor is minty and sweet, but not overpowering. It really does make your mouth/breath feel fresher. I didn't notice any caffeine buzz, but I drink a lot of caffeinated beverages anyway. Also these minis only contain 6mg of nicotine, while I usually use regular or sterk portions. So I found myself popping 2 at a time. If they made this in a regular white portion it would be great. I probably won't be ordering it again, but I'm glad to have tried it.

This is the cat's ass. Truly the Best and only one we like so far. Just a nice pleasant taste not at all like the wet brown awful tobacco taste like the others. This will be a regular for me and I'm ordering five more right now.

Just tried out a tub of this and although its not terrible its not one id return to. Im not keen on the sweet Honey flavour and prefer its sister Menthol flavour to this one. Can't honestly say I feel any difference to the caffeine but then im English and drink quite a bit of tea. As with the other Oomphs the portions are the best for a mini and really suited for been out and about.

On the plus side, this is a very discreet snus, perfect for at work or when you want to keep it low key. There is very little taste, the slightest sweetness and bitterness reminiscent of a No-Doz caffeine pill.
The "energy" kick is mild, but it's definitely there. To me, it kind of tastes like makeup. All in all, a fairly inoffensive snus, no drip, and very little flavor. It's good for what it is, but may not strike the fancy of the typical snus user.

I tried to give this one 6 out of 5 stars but the last invisible star would not click! I am a college student and a bartender. This combo makes for some late nights and early mornings. I was introduced to snus one night at work and placed an order right when i got home. I was immediately drawn to this energy portion and decided to order a few along with others. This snus is discreet and spitless so it can be used in class(i might mention tobacco use is prohibited in the buildings), and i can keep a few in while serving drinks at the bar(the health department would throw a sh*t fit if they saw a server spitting). I try to keep enough around at home, but my roommates never fail to find the hidden stash. they love it too! it has a taste that is almost unnoticeable, and the energy kick after a nice buzz from only two of these little guys is awesome! There is nothing better than throwing a few in and having a couple mixed drinks(suggested drink:ice 1shotvodka, 1shotgin, 1shotrum, 1.5shotstriplesec, lemonade, splash of coke, all in a pint glass)

This is a refreshing change from the usual snus. A surprising nic hit from such a small package. This wont be a regular. But will go into the rotation once in a while.

Its A breath of fresh air! Not your ordinary Snus.
No salty tobacco flavor. Just a unique blend, with hints of Candy flavor that leaves a cool refreshing tingly taste in your mouth. would be better if the flavor was more intense and lasted longer.

I got this thinking that I probably would hate it. I've only tried it twice now, but I have to say the taste is great... I plan on checking out the others some more, but so far this is my favorite despite the low nicotine content.

Excellent flavor, good kick with the energy ingredients, but a small nic hit. (Probably because it is a mini.) It tends to numb my toungue a little when I first pop it in my mouth which is kind of strange, but not unpleasant. I've a friend that absolutely LOVES this stuff, I find it to be a good energy boost in the middle of the day, a little "pick me up" so to speak. I would buy it again.

I am a fan of this snus, love the peppermint hit and the fast nic hit in the morning to wake me up, although i have only been using snus for a short time, this one will be my morning snus for a while. If you don't like strong peppermint then pass on this one, but it is a five star snus, in my opinion! As far as the whitening is concerned, i have to agree with the other reviewers, don't expect any teeth whitening to happen, but that won't stop me!

Boys and girls i use skruf stark loose, general es loose, N&J, strong snus brands. northerner sent me a free can of this in my order today.
i laughed when i saw the mini portion but buddy the nic in this stuff hits fast and hard. i can't tell the caffeine is in there. i can see this stuff being real good for someone trying to quit smoking. i am not saying this is as strong as N&J, etc but you WILL know the nic is there. They taste ok. sort of lemon tasting.

I had no idea what to expect with this, very different to my usual Skruf portion, in size, taste, strength, basically everything. But as a morning wake-up snus, or a pick me-up in the office it's awesome. I love the flavour, and I gotta admit despite it's small size it's freaking powerful! I've just got a colleague into this snus, he's trying to quit smoking but didn't really like regular portion snus. I let him try this and he loved it, he's going to get a few cans apparently. Something different, but really really good

I first tried this snus 3 months ago and my opinion hasn't changed.
I think it's great. Everyone's tastes are different so opinions vary, but if you haven't tried it, definitely give it a go. I like the taste and the little bit of kick it gives me. I go through at least 3 portions a day of this. First one in the morning on the way to work. After lunch. On the drive home. I've pretty much switched to los. This is one of the few portions I still use.

My favourite snus so far!
Only been using snus full time for a month or so, although I've had General Loose and Goteborg Rape regularly over the last few years, but I love the purified mini portions for the flavour ( I get warm honey and no medecine), the quick hit and the small portion (invisible behind the top lip). Like other's have mentioned, I don't get a huge energy buzz, but then the caffeine level is quite low. However, I get a good nicotine hit and a pleasant all-round feeling, and I leave the portion in for 1-2hrs. I am using this snus to avoid smoking but enjoy my nicotine! and this snus replaces cigarettes very well - only smoked two since I got my snus delivery three weeks back...

OH Thats very BAD SNUS sorr ybut it is to little and i dont feel anything its NOT ma SNUS ....
